We at Rite Firelighters are proud local manufacturers of high quality longer lasting firelighters. We also supply a variety of charcoal, briquettes, and both hard and soft firewood.

Rite Firelighters was formed by two South African buddies with a passion for both hosting and attending braais. This passion led them to create their own firelighters, the first of which were created in their own
backyard!

After perfecting their backyard firelighters, demand for their product grew. Out of this demand their manufacturing company was formed. When later asked what the most difficult part of starting their own business was, the answer was “coming up with the name”, reason being that they were looking for the RITE name to perfectly describe their firelighters.

Rite Firelighters has proudly grown from a backyard experiment among friends, to a fully functioning manufacturing company. We take great pride in our locally manufactured products, and hope to share our product with all.

Rite Firelighters endeavours to highlight the importance of fire safety, especially since firelighters are highly flammable products.

We strongly recommend that fires never be left unattended, and that all flammable items be kept well out of reach of children.
